This marks a threefold increase compared to the average rate. Since late March, approximately 363,400 COVID-19 cases have been recorded nationwide, with the majority concentrated in Bangkok Province. The outbreak is ongoing and has not yet reached its peak.
Travelers should ensure they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who received their last dose more than six months ago may have reduced immunity and should consider getting a booster shot if eligible. Individuals at higher risk for severe illness or who are not fully vaccinated may want to carry antiviral medication for self-treatment, if appropriate. All travelers are advised to comply with local guidelines, including mask use and physical distancing measures.
