Because of increased Yellow Fever activity in the region, Ecuador’s Ministry of Health has added 3 countries (Bolivia, Colombia, and Peru) to the list of countries they consider to be at risk of yellow fever (YF) transmission.
As of May 12, 2025, A certificate proving yellow fever (YF) vaccination is required for travelers aged 1-59 years coming from the following countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Peru, and Uganda. This also applies to airport transit stops (no exit through immigration checkpoint) longer than 12 hours in these countries.
