We previously reported that, as of July 7, 2025 the Honduras Ministry of Health would require all travelers from countries that have reported recent measles outbreaks to provide proof of measles vaccination for entry into Honduras.
As of today (July 7, 2025), The Honduras Ministry of Health has now rescinded the measles vaccination entry requirement for travelers coming from measles-affected countries. Proof of vaccination is only required for Honduran citizens aged 12 months through 10 years traveling to measles-affected countries.
However, the incidence of measles is on the rise worldwide, including here in the U.S. and in Europe. `Measles is one of the most contagious diseases in the world, it can cause serious harm or death and is preventable with the MMR vaccine.
